Pros

Safety: In general, CBD is safe for most people. Some may not be able to take it or may need to consult a doctor, but the World Health Organization says CBD is safe for most people.

When CBD oil is placed under the tongue, held there for 30 seconds, and then swallowed, it improves efficiency and speed of absorption, providing the most benefits. It also has longer-lasting effects.

Availability: The 2018 Farm Bill legalised hemp-derived products in the United States, so CBD oils and other CBD products are now widely available here in the UK. As a result, consumers now have a wide variety of products to choose from.

Benefits: CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system, which may provide pain relief, reduce mild anxiety, and improve sleep, among other potential benefits.

Cons

CBD of high quality can be expensive: Although you can certainly find cheap CBD, it is likely to be of low quality and low purity, thus posing safety and effectiveness issues.

Expectations are high: CBD affects everyone differently, just like caffeine affects people differently depending on how much they use. In other words, manage your expectations when exploring different products and dosages and be aware that what works for someone else may not work for you. You have to experiment with various dosages to see what works best for you.

Quality: Since CBD products in the UK are not regulated, the quality of these products can be quite different. Do your research to ensure you are purchasing a safe, high-quality, and pure product. (Be sure to read the product description carefully to determine whether it contains the ingredients and strengths you require) 

Different Benefits: CBD is available in three forms: full spectrum, broad-spectrum, and isolate. Generally speaking, CBD isolate may not give the same level of benefits as CBD oils that are broad-spectrum or full-spectrum. This is due to the entourage effect.

There are a few things you should look for in a high-quality CBD product if you want to incorporate it into your wellness routine. Be sure the label on the bottle is clear and transparent. In addition to the list of ingredients and the THC content (if any), the concentration should also be displayed. Make sure the product does not contain any chemicals, fillers, or by-products.
